Terms of Service

By creating an account on WoWMatch you agree to the terms below. They are written by the engineering team as a starting point and will be revised by counsel — material changes will be communicated by email.

Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least thirteen years old to use WoWMatch, and old enough to use Battle.net under Blizzard's own rules in your country. By signing in you confirm you meet those requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. Do not share your Battle.net credentials, do not let another person operate your WoWMatch profile, and let us know quickly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed on WoWMatch: harassment, threats, or hate speech directed at any user; sexual or sexually suggestive content; spam, scams, or commercial solicitation outside of guild recruitment; sharing or selling accounts; and automated scraping of profiles, matches, or messages. Violations can result in a warning, a temporary suspension, or permanent termination.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

The core matchmaking features of WoWMatch are free. Premium subscriptions unlock additional reach and quality-of-life tools and are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the Settings screen and you keep Premium access until the end of the period you have paid for. We refund pro-rated unused time on request when a clear billing error has occurred.

Termination and appeals

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where possible we will tell you why and give you a chance to appeal by replying to the moderation email; first-time, low-harm violations are usually resolved with a warning rather than a ban.

Disclaimer of warranties

WoWMatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific match or conversation will lead to a particular outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WoWMatch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Direct liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or fifty euros.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and disputes will be brought before the courts of Dublin, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
